Welfare Benefits

The government have got this plan that came out in the last budget to take away WCA’s – Working Capability Assessments.

Now, if anybody’s ever gone through a Working Capability Assessment, they are horrible.

They’re the same type of assessments that you go through for PIP.

They’re forced on you, the Working Capability Assessment, the WCA is done every 18 months. The PIP ones are, I think, are now three years. I’m not quite sure about that. But they’re horrible. But the government are doing away with them, and it is going to cause absolute havoc and poverty and distress. And it’s going to cost lives. There’s no two ways about it. It’s going to cost lives.
