The article has been written from an understanding and experience of navigating through society’s legalities in relation to housing. Unless there is change, unfortunately, there will always be distant voices, yet to be heard. The system has a set of rules, policies, and legislations that at times don’t work for everyone. What do I mean by distant voices? The system in relation to housing and care doesn’t always understand an individual needs, their mental health, and their circumstances.

Listening to people is an ongoing process. Security in life is not always a given.

Everyone has a duty to expand their awareness beyond their own circumstances. The experience of going through the loopholes and obstacles of the housing system is not always straightforward. This feels like a whirlpool, spiralling endlessly. This is everyone’s issue to care about. Please enjoy the creative parchment below. Here we go!

A sound reflection.

A protest from a view,

‘Hello, respectable community?’

‘Don’t talk to those people’ says the mother to her child. Sighs!

Stereotype: a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image of a particular type of person.

The voices of the few!

Going-up, Going-down.

On a daily basis, the beautiful

people say…

‘I do not understand?

Explanation, please, if you wouldn’t mind?’

A vocation of dedicated souls,

of getting some clarification to the displaced.

Stability, increase, decrease.

The clock is always ticking.

Coming to light, from all scopes of life,

When encountering

various shifting, through this

concrete jungle.

In our civilised humanity,

In this beautiful land of pastures green.

A calling from a drawing breath.

To relieve individuals of this terrible affliction…

‘No Fixed Abode’.

Some ability of kindness

or cruelty…

Results of accommodation,

No jokes…

Is this within Human Rights?

Those people?

My dear Honourable Friends

Of the Mainstream Society.

Please, I do beg you,

to listen with due Attention.

Is this worth your attention?

Aloud or not aloud!

Allowed or not allowed?

For those Settled in “our”

Society… Dear, Sir. Madam,

You are eligible, too.

Do behave, Monsieur reporter.

Oh sorry, no Apologies.

This is reality

It is no fantasy…

Some kind of awareness, and

Benefits for the establishment?

When Wise-Ones, try to educate, tackle,

‘The Big Issue’

The dire emergency of ‘No Fixed Abode’.

We do have confidence in all living souls.

They are the core,

of the world at large.

All have a role to contribute,

to life, in any shape or form,

from birth to expiration…

All have special skills,

Yes, they do…

Affirmations to Solutions.

Unity, is the key.

An ongoing topic, tick?

Like a hamster wheel, merry go round,

This experience keeps going round and round.

Out of constant wanderings

Of this not so glorious pavement.

Always another light,

The ongoing process of change.

Do not stop digging.

No end to reporting.

In ink or electronics.

All those Distant Voices?

will be heard, eventually…

Gratitude to you all.
