Hi, My name is Kwaku Appiah.
I was born in Kolebu hospital, Accra, Ghana. In October 1982.
My name Kwaku means I was born on Wednesday. I grew up in Roman Catholic church, and I was a Mass Servant when I was thirteen years old. I completed my senior high school at age of 19yrs. And I did Agricultural Training Collage in Wench, Bono Ahafo Region. I am a tall person, my height is 6.10 feet tall, and my weight is 73.8kg. I’m black in complexion with black hair and brown eyes. I’m interesting in cooking, reading, walking, sharing, football, telling stories etc..
I came to UK in 2015 to seek sanctuary because of my sexual orientation. I had been facing a lot of harassment and intimidation in my country. There was homophobia and I got beaten with injuries. I almost died because of my sexual orientation. When I came to UK I found family and friends, they accepted me as a family member. I am a gay man my pronouns are HE/HIM. I really feel in UK.
I currently live in Wolverhampton, West Midlands,
England. I’m a member of Inclusive Gathering Birmingham, Member of Journey LGBT asylum group Birmingham, and Volunteer at British Heart Foundation in Wolverhampton.
This is little bit about me.
