Finally I got my sim card back, so now I’m just waiting for my phone to arrive then I will be back in action. I have managed to get back into work and have exciting projects coming up so all isn’t bad.
I still haven’t got my belongings back which isn’t great and I’m starting to feel down about that. I once again sent an email to my landlord asking for access to the property. It seems they have now blocked my email address which was confirmed by Gmail attempting to unsuccessfully send it 3 times.
I got in touch with the landlord’s local police station to see if this will help and I was given a crime reference number. Finally, I received a response saying that as I have already got my local police involved, the landlord’s local police will need to get in touch with my local police through the appropriate channels before any action can be taken.
This is just jarring my brain at this stage as I’m following advice but I still seem to be at square one when it comes to getting access to my belongings, even with the council and police getting involved. I just can’t believe what landlords in the UK can get away with.
No matter what I will continue campaigning against this injustice and never give up the good fight. It helps me to accept that it is okay to be down as the result of going through something like this. I just hope my belongings are still in the property.
